The reason we like this restaurant in comparison is due to Jim's hankering for Sushi. Several restaurants have vegan friendly rolls on occasion; however, at the Grand China Buffet, they are willing to prepare a custom roll for you- unheard of at any buffet that we've ever been to. You can watch the staff as they prepare your sushi roll. Jim's favorite includes: Avocado, cucumber, tofu, and rice. The portion is ample, and is included with the price of the buffet. The price does vary by day and time so check out the website for more information.
Here's a pic of their sushi roll, grilled veggies, and seaweed salad. They even put a little artistic flair to it. Can you see the dragon?
The biggest problem you may experience is the language barrier. The Sushi chef's some times do not speak English so you may need to grab one of the other employees to translate.
